Depart UK on Virgin Atlantic economy flight.

Day 1: 1 nights' accommodation at Beverly Garlands Holiday Inn, LA.

Day 2: Motorhome pick-up from Cruise America in LA. A four hour drive along the main Route 101 brings you to the campsite where you spend your first night.

Day 3: Head towards the Pacific Ocean and on to California's spectacular Route 1 at San Luis Obispo. Reach Hearst Castle and settle in to your campground to enjoy the San Simeon beaches.

Day 4/5: Head north on Route 1 stopping at Carmel and Monterey. Head for San Francisco to your campsite which is just four miles from the sights of the city.

Day 6/7: Head east toward Yosemite, one of the most famous of all National Parks with its magnificent scenery.

Day 8: Return to Yosemite and drive right through on the very scenic Route 395. Leaving Yosemite you'll pass through three more National Parks: Kings Canyon, Death Valley and Sequoia.

Day 9: Continue south on 395 through the Sierra Nevada and head to the flatter lands of the Mojave Desert.

Day 10/11: Dig your toes into the sand at Campland on the Bay in San Diego.

Day 12: Head for Newport Beach, another great campground beach resort. Enjoy the mile of beach front with swimming, sailing and much more.

Day 13: Take a short 30 mile drive back to the Cruise America depot in LA. Return flight on Virgin Atlantic back to UK.
